The DLG awards us a whole host of medals

This year, we have once again been showered with a large number of medals following the DLG independent quality tests (Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft e.V. – German Agricultural Society). The baked goods were entered in different product categories and presented with no fewer than 10 silver and 12 gold medals.

The award-winning products include the Bamberg Crescent which has been receiving gold for many years, as have the Nut Spiral and the hearty Cheese Spiral. Like last year, the ButterBack Cornet once again convinced the jury. The list continues with the crispy Butter Quark Turnover and the Antipasti Veggie Corner. All the filled Butter Ball Donuts we entered received gold medals as did the Donut with Vanilla Cream Filling and the Blueberry and Lemon-Choc Muffins.

The DLG tests focus on a sensory analysis embracing quality factors such as taste, fragrance, appearance and consistency. Products that tick all the boxes are awarded one of the coveted DLG medals.
